Abstract

The Great Victory of Spring 1975 was a victory of Vietnamese mettle and intelligence, of the combined strength created by many factors, including material and spiritual. The decisive factor for victory was the wise leadership of the Party, the result of the process of building and promoting political and spiritual factors with patriotism, aspiration for independence, unification, peace and socialism; the indomitable will, creative intelligence of the Vietnamese army and people were gathered and promoted to the peak, creating a great driving force and absolute advantage over the enemy in the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring 1975. The Great Victory of Spring 1975 affirmed its great stature, significance, bright symbol and a profound historical lesson on building and promoting political and spiritual factors in the Ho Chi Minh era.
