Abstract

On the basis of adhering to the fundamental principles of Marxism, China has continuously reformed and opened up, combining the socialist orientation with innovation in development methods. Through this, it has achieved great accomplishments of historical significance and broad international influence. The article outlines the superiority of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics through the practice of reform and opening-up, concentrated in the “six persistences”. These achievements highlight the contemporary vitality of Marxism and make important contributions to the development of socialism in the 21st century.
