Tóm tắt

Nepal, a Himalayan country, is among the most climate-vulnerable nations due to its mountainous terrain, fragile ecosystems, and limited adaptive capacity. Accelerated glacier melting, glacial lake outburst floods, landslides, and increasing climate extremes are generating profound socio-economic and environmental impacts. This article employs secondary data analysis to analyze the impacts of climate change in Nepal and examine the country’s policies, models, and practical experiences in climate adaptation and sustainable development. Based on the case of Nepal, the paper draws policy-relevant lessons that may serve as valuable references for Vietnam. The study therefore proposes several implications for Vietnam - Nepal cooperation in this field.
