Enhancing the Role of Self-Criticism and Criticism in Party Building in the Context of Vietnam’s Reform and Development

Abstract

In the context of Vietnam’s ongoing reform and development process, Party building and rectification play a crucial role in strengthening the leadership capacity and combativeness of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). This article analyzes the role of self-criticism and criticism within Party cells in Party building work in the context of Vietnam’s accelerated reform and international integration. Based on the review of CPV’s theoretical documents and employing qualitative research methods such as analysis, synthesis and practical assessment, the study examines the current situation of self-criticism and criticism practices within Party cells, identifying key limitations and underlying causes. The paper then proposes several solutions to improve the quality of self-criticism and criticism activities in Party cells, thereby contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization that meets the requirements of effectively leading Vietnam’s sustainable reform and development in the new stage.
