This study evaluates the effectiveness of Digital Project-Based Learning (Digital PBL) in developing collaborative competence for primary school students through environmental education. A pretest-posttest experimental study was conducted from September to December 2025, involving 35 fifth-grade students at Cam Binh Primary School, Ha Tinh province. Paired samples t-test results indicated a statistically significant increase in the mean collaborative competence score from 2.66 to 3.23 (p < 0.001). The Cohen’s deffect size was 0.70, indicating a relatively large effect. These preliminary findings demonstrate that Digital PBL is a feasible pedagogical approach for enhancing collaboration competence and environmental awareness within the context of digital transformation.
