Macaluso - Corbino effect in rubidium atomic vapor

This paper reports a systematic investigation of the Macaluso-Corbino effect in room temperature Rubidium atomic vapor. A semiclassical theoretical model combined with experimental measurements was developed to analyze the dependence of the polarization rotation angle on the laser frequency and magnetic field intensity. The experimental results obtained for the D2 hyperfine transitions of both isotopes exhibit excellent agreement with the theoretical predictions. These findings provide a critical basis for optimizing Faraday Anomalous Dispersion Optical Filters (FADOF) and high-sensitivity magnetic field sensors.
