Medical students’ opinions on studying Statistical Probability in the form of blended learning

Abstract

Objective: Investigate the opinions of medical students at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy on blended learning in Probability and Statistics. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 196 third-year medical undergraduate students, who finished the final exam of the Epidemiology module during 2023-24 academic year. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. Results: The results showed that 59.7% of students were satisfied and 22.5% were very satisfied with blended learning in Probability and Statistics. Conclusion: From the results, we recommend maintaining and improving blended learning in Probability and Statistics for medical students at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
