Abstract

Vietnam is a country that has experienced many impacts of war, natural disasters and harsh living conditions. Therefore, Vietnam is also a country with a high number of people with disabilities, including children. Educational policies for children with disabilities have been implemented in practice to promote and protect children’s rights, caring for both material and spiritual needs to help them develop their comprehensive capacities, aiming for the highest level of independent living ability. The article analyzes educational policies supporting the integration of children with disabilities that have been implemented in recent years. Based on the results of the evaluation of inclusive education policies for children with disabilities, including the strengths and shortcomings of the policies when put into practice, a number of solutions are proposed to achieve the goal of effectively managing inclusive education in schools today.
