Abstract

Project-based learning (PBL) is an effective teaching tool that helps mechanical engineering students develop practical problem-solving skills and apply knowledge to reality projects. This article presents the main benefits of PBL in improving students' professional skills and soft skills. Simultaneously, the article also discusses practical applications of this method, from the design and manufacture of mechanical products to the application of 4.0 technology, maintenance research, and sustainable development. Finally, the article confirms that PBL is an effective teaching method and is a bridge between students and the labor market.
