Abstract

The article presents the application of the situational teaching method in the teaching and
learning process of solving first-degree Diophantine equations with two variables to enhance the learning
effectiveness of pedagogy students. The situational teaching method enables students to actively acquire
knowledge, encourages logical and creative thinking, and fosters the ability to apply mathematics to
real-world situations. Additionally, the article analyzes the difficulties that students often encounter when
studying Diophantine equations and proposes ways to design appropriate learning situations to help
them gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Through specific scenarios, students develop analytical,
reasoning, and problem-solving skills in a systematic manner.. .
