The problem of innovating teaching methods following the competence-based approach at colleges and universities is about not only paying attention to positive intellectual activities of learners but also paying attention to training problem-solving competences associated with life situations and professional activities. The article mentions how these innovative issues can be achieved when teaching specialized subjects for students majoring in Early Childhood Education following competence-based approach at Kien Giang College of Education.
