Measures to develop mathematical communication competene through teaching Math solutions with words for 4th graders

Mathematical communication is one of the core competencies that need to be formed and developed for students during the process of teaching Mathematics. This article proposes four pedagogical measures to develop mathematical communication competence through teaching math solutions with text for 4th graders. These measures have a close relationship and complement each other to ensure logics. Therefore, teachers need to flexibly apply measures to contribute to developing students' mathematical communication competence, thereby improving the quality of Math teaching in primary schools.
