Designing learning games in teaching vocabulary for 4th graders

Abstract

The 2018 primary education program is the realization of Resolution No. 29 - NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013 of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on “fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization, modernization in the context of a market-oriented socialist-oriented economy and international integration”. The changes in the program entail a series of other changes that require teachers to constantly innovate teaching methods, forms of organization of teaching, assessment methods, teaching tools and techniques, etc. This article aims to design word-type educational games (WTET) for 4th-grade students to create interest in learning while helping teachers to change their teaching methods to meet the requirements of educational innovation in the current context.
