Some thoughts about using active teaching methods in today’s higher education environment

Abstract

Active teaching methods are a set of teaching techniques to encourage creativity, practice teamwork skills and increase students’ learning spirit. Create a friendly, collaborative learning environment and comprehensive development of students. Instead of just imparting knowledge one-way, teachers will use questions to arouse curiosity, promote participation and encourage learners to learn for themselves to develop thinking and self-study skills. Along with it, the teacher is the one who can evaluate the level of understanding and grasp of knowledge of students. To be able to implement active teaching methods, teachers must act as guides and accompany students in the learning process.
