Abstract

Life Skills Education can be seen as bridges that help individuals transform knowledge into positive, healthy attitudes, behaviors, and habits. Those equipped with appropriate skills remain resilient in the face of difficulties and challenges. Understanding this issue, in recent years, Ho Chi Minh City in general, and District 5 in particular, have shown great concern and investment in Life Skills Education for students. However, the current reality reveals several limitations in fostering life skills among primary school students in District 5. The development of these skills has not shown significant improvement. The primary reason lies in the mindset of teachers and parents, who prioritize imparting knowledge over developing life skills. Measures outlined in this paper for managing Life Skills Education activities ensure goal orientation, practicality, systemic approaches, and interconnectedness. These measures are prerequisites for effective implementation.
