Abstract
Information Technology aims to help students develop and enhance their IT skills with several key objectives. Students should be able to use and manage information and communication technology tools. They should understand appropriate behavior in the digital environment and solve problems with the support of ICT. They should also collaborate in the digital environment. Transitioning to teaching and managing Information Technology with a focus on developing student competencies presents both an opportunity to improve teaching quality and a significant challenge for teachers and school administrators, particularly at Thủ Đức High School, given that preparation for competency-based teaching and management in IT has not been implemented promptly and uniformly. This paper proposes management measures to address these limitations.
