Abstract

Experiential learning is increasingly being researched and widely applied in preschools as it not only meets the demands for educational innovation and promotes children’s holistic development but also offers practical benefits for their present and future lives. However, to effectively organize experiential activities for preschoolers in general, and for 5-6-years-old kindergarteners at The 9 Preschool, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City in particular, the educators need to have a deep understanding of John Dewey’s experiential learning theory, particularly his argument that ‘education is a growth from within, out of experience and for experience’ (Dewey, 2022).
