Difficulties and challenges in career orientation for high school students in the current context

Abstract

Parents often give special attention to their child's future career, and research shows that high school students face considerable challenges in career guidance. These students must focus on their studies and may have limited opportunities to gain career experience, while their parents' expectations about their future careers can unintentionally add pressure to the decision-making process. This highlights the need for collaboration and sharing between parents and children in career guidance.
