Abstract

The 2018 Vietnam Mathematics General Education Curriculum emphasizes the development of students’ mathematical competencies and enhances the practical application of knowledge. To achieve this, educators must create learning scenarios that enable students to connect mathematical concepts with real-life situations. This paper proposes a four-step process for developing statistical exercises based on real-world data, followed by a specific example to illustrate this methodology.
