Designing STEM lessons in teaching 4th grade Science with the orientation of developing problem-solving capacity for students

The concept of STEM learning is integrating intra-subjects or multidisciplinary subjects to create something greater than the sum of its individual parts. This dissertation proposes designing STEM lessons according to the instructional model in teaching Science for Grade 4 students to develop the problem-solving competency. Applying the process to design and illustrate STEM projects such as the “Thermos flask” when teaching the lesson “Heat transfer and thermal conductors” in the unit “Energy”.
