Abstract

Competence is the ability to perform tasks and jobs effectively in a certain profession. Pedagogical competence of preschool teachers is a personality attribute, formed on the basis of a combination of knowledge, skills, pedagogical work attitudes and expressed in the ability to effectively perform child care and education activities. Preschool teacher professional standards are a system of standards and criteria on qualities and professional competence in nurturing, caring for, and educating children at preschool teacher training institutions.
