Building a scale to evaluate students‘ spatial thinking skills in teaching Organic Chemistry in high schools

Abstract
Based on research on the concepts and characteristics of spatial thinking, the author has identified a system of spatial thinking skills for students in teaching organic chemistry in high schools including 3 operations and 7 criteria. Evaluation criteria, each criterion includes 3 levels: average, good and good. The spatial thinking assessment scale helps teachers measure the level of awareness of stereochemistry content of students as well as adjust teaching activities to suit reality at each general education facility.
