Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has had a strong impact on the economic development of developing countries such as Vietnam. In that context, Vietnam's higher education is currently facing enormous challenges in improving the quality of training to gradually catch up with the regional and world levels. This article studies the impacts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on Vietnam's higher education, identifies the challenges that local universities in Vietnam are facing, thereby proposing policy implications for the sustainable development of local universities in Vietnam in the current international integration.
