Abstract

STEM education has been successfully implemented in many countries, helping to enhance students’ creativity and critical thinking skills, especially in the context of technological development. In the US, Finland, and Singapore, STEM not only allows students to access science and technology early but also promotes problem-solving skills through practical projects. In Vietnam, although STEM education is gradually being emphasized, there are still many challenges such as limited facilities and teaching methods that lean towards theory. Learning from international experience, Vietnam needs to invest in teacher training, improve facilities, and encourage collaboration between schools and businesses to effectively implement STEM, thereby contributing to sustainable economic and social development in the future.
