Abstract

Interest in reading is an important factor that helps first graders approach language naturally and effectively, while laying the foundation for self-study and thinking development in the future. In this article, we have researched and analyzed specific measures to create interest in reading for first graders, including the use of visual aids, group activities, learning games, and building a friendly reading environment. From the above measures, we aim to create interest in reading for first graders in Lai Vung district, Dong Thap province. We hope that this will be a useful reference for teachers and parents in creating interest in reading for first graders, contributing to building a generation of students who love language, are eager to learn, and have deep reading comprehension skills.
