Abstract

This article analyzes and proposes the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in teaching the course on Indigenous Culture and Tourism Guiding at Lai Chau College. The integration of AI into education not only enhances teaching effectiveness but also creates a dynamic, creative learning environment for students. The article focuses on the traditional festivals of the ethnic groups in Lai Chau, such as the Hoa Ban Festival of the Thai people, the Tú Tỷ Festival of the Giáy people, and the Mừng Cơm Mới Festival of the La Hủ people, exploring how AI can help recreate rituals, folk games, and enable students to learn and develop tourism guiding skills through Virtual Reality (VR) simulations and 3D models. Furthermore, AI assists instructors in monitoring, assessing, and adjusting students’ learning processes effectively, contributing to the improvement of vocational tourism training in the region.
