Abstract

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of neurodevelopmental disorders that affect children’s ability to communicate and interact socially. Social skills education for preschool children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) plays an important role in helping children integrate into society and develop comprehensively. This article presents an overview of the main methods in social skills education for preschool children with ASD, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), picture communication support (PECS), TEACCH method, group-game method and technology-based method.
