Abstract

In role-playing games based on literary works, children not only transform themselves into adults but also “embody” characters with rich, complex inner lives, distinct personalities, and actions that are both realistic and miraculous. To play these roles, children must go through an artistic labor process similar to that of an artist. The results of role-playing games are very meaningful. They not only help children accumulate life experience through the characters in the works but also have a direct impact on the development of emotions, aesthetic feelings, especially their communication process. In this article, we propose a method of cooperation between preschools and families to educate communication skills for 5-6-year-old children through role-playing games.
