Improving the English essay writing ability of students at Nam Dinh University of Technical Education

Abstract

Writing English essays is one of the difficult and important skills for students in the learning process to achieve output standards because it requires learners not only to learn about English but also about thinking and manners expression and discussion in the essay, in addition, students must also have knowledge about other social and scientific issues. Reality shows that students have many difficulties in studying and practicing writing essays in English, causing their learning results to not be as expected. To solve this situation and improve students' English essay writing skills, the authors explore the difficulties students encounter in the process of learning to write English essays and thereby propose some solutions to help students. Students improve their essay writing skills and achieve high academic results.
