Abstract

This study explores the integration of PowerPoint, Canva, and Quizizz into English language
teaching for freshmen at Sonadezi College, focusing on a sample size of 200 students. The research
adopts a mixed-methods approach, employing surveys to collect quantitative data and interviews with
lecturers for qualitative insights. SPSS analysis reveals improvements in student engagement, motivation,
and learning outcomes. PowerPoint aids in structured and interactive content delivery, Canva enhances
creativity through visual projects, and Quizizz fosters active participation via gamified assessments. The
findings underscore the practical value of these tools in optimizing instructional practices and provide
recommendations for educators aiming to enhance language teaching effectiveness in higher education.
