Abstract

This paper investigates English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers’ perceptions of peer
observation (PO) and its impact on reflective practice for professional development. It explores how PO
contributes to improving teaching quality through shared reflection and feedback. Results suggest that
most teachers view PO positively, recognizing its role in supporting both the observer and the observed
in their professional development, enhancing reflection and teaching practices, improving feedback and
motivation, and engagement and lesson development
