ANALYSIS OF OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN STEM EDUCATION IN VIETNAM

Abstract

The biggest feature of STEM education is the application of practical learning methods and
creative experiential activities, applying knowledge into practice. In addition to the main skills of STEM
education that learners are formed and developed (Science skills; Technology skills; Engineering skills; Math
skills), STEM education also equips students with appropriate skills to develop in the 21st century. Based
on the collection of secondary data on STEM education in Vietnam, the article analyzes the opportunities,
advantages as well as challenges and difficulties in implementing STEM education in our country today.
