Abstract

Lifelong learning is a core competency essential for future educators in a rapidly changing
and modern society. Based on recent educational reforms and international lifelong learning policies,
this study investigates the current state of lifelong learning skills among third- and fourth-year students
at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Using surveys and
interviews, data collected from 77 students reveal a generally positive perception of lifelong learning.
However, limitations remain in areas such as personal study planning, critical information evaluation,
and the development of sustainable self-learning habits.
