Abstract

This study investigates the perspectives and challenges encountered by non-English majored
students at Dong Nai Technology University in learning English grammar. Employing a mixed-method
approach with questionnaires and interviews involving 120 participants, the research identifies key
obstacles, including complex grammatical structures, ineffective study strategies, and limited opportunities
for practical use. Despite these challenges, students demonstrate an awareness of the importance of
mastering grammar. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are proposed to help address these
difficulties and enhance students’ grammar learning outcomes.
