INTONATION MISTAKES’ IMPACT ON INTERPRETING DELIVERY AMONG STUDENTS OF INTERPRETING AND TRANSLATION ORIENTATION, ENGLISH DEPARTMENT, HANOI UNIVERSITY

Abstract

In this paper, the authors aim to investigate English intonation mistakes encountered by third
and fourth-year students who are enrolling in Translation and Interpreting course in English Department
of Hanoi University. Alongside with intonation mistakes, causes leading to these mistakes are also
discovered. Finally, the paper finds out how English intonation mistakes influence the quality of expression
in interpreting.
