Abstract

ABSTRACT
Competency-based technology education requires the design of learning tasks associated with real-life
situations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to introduce common learning tasks in competency-based
technology education. The analysis of the existing literature has identified four types of learning tasks in
competency-based technology education, including: case-based learning, project-based learning, problembased learning, and simulation-based learning.
