Application of technology in teaching Chinese literature

Abstract

Abstract: Literature has always been intimately linked to traditional instruction, which mostly employs the translation technique. As a result, literature has steadily lost its place in language classrooms in favor of a more communicative and participatory approach. It hasn’t helped that teachers felt compelled to select from the classics, a choice that wasn’t always well-liked by students or institutions that sought to modernize. As a result, literature finally lost respect and its position in language classrooms. This article will present an idea of employing modern technology to approach literature to suggest new teaching and studying methods for teachers and students.
