Abstract

Self-study ability has been highlighted as a fundamental and significant competency in the 2018 General Education Program [1]. Developing and improving students’ self-study ability is a critical responsibility in high school education. This article is a case study that investigates the current situation of developing self-study for students through integrated teaching in some high schools in Hanoi’s outskirts. Integrated teaching is regarded as a great method for developing students’ self-study ability. The findings in this paper form the foundation for the research team to continue developing measures to successfully increase self-study ability in high school students using integrated teaching.
