Abstract

The Triarchic Theory of Intelligence, formulated by Robert Sternberg, is a cognitive-contextual theory that states three forms of intelligence: analytical, creative and practical intelligence. This theory goes against the traditional psychometric approach to intelligence, which only focuses on analytical intelligence. Instead, Sternberg believed that intelligence is more than just IQ scores and academic achievement; it also includes the ability to be creative and solve problems practically
