Abstract

The article is based on the author’s idea of renovating the design of teaching activities that integrate skills and develop thinking to help students learn while playing. The article gives some suggestions for designing activities in four stages: Exploring, connecting, using and expanding - creating. In the Activities at each stage, familiar characters and animals are brought into the story. The teacher is both the narrator and the character who lead the students to receiving the lesson in a gentle and funny way. Therefore, the lesson is designed in the direction of subject integration should not be a separate lesson in each unit. With this kind of design, knowledge is sequenced, expanded and enriched and so the students can use a variety of skills to explore the world.
