Developing competence to learn about surrounding natural environment in teaching 4th grade Sciences in primary school

Abstract

According to the 2018 General Education Program, Science at primary school level plays an important role in forming and developing natural science competencies for students. Natural science competence is composed of component competencies including natural science awareness; learn about the natural surroundings; apply acquired knowledge and skills in practice. The article focuses on clarifying the manifestations; specific content and requirements to meet; some teaching methods contribute to the formation and development of the ability to learn about the surrounding natural environment in the teaching of Science 4th grade.
