Abstract

In the 2018 Education Program, the modern Vietnamese short story plays an important role in shaping the face of contemporary Vietnamese literature, being able to fully satisfy all principles for literary corpus and all forms of literature. requirements of teaching Literature in the direction of competence. The synthesis, systematization, analysis and evaluation of research works on teaching Vietnamese modern literature and short stories in the direction of competency approach are necessary in the current context.
