Teaching 4th grade Mathematics to develop mathematical modeling competence

Abstract

Mathematical modeling capacity is one of the five component capacities of mathematical capacity specified in the 2018 Mathematics General Education Program. Developing capacity teaching is being implemented at schools. The Grade 4 Math program begins to be implemented from the 2023- 2024 school year in elementary schools. Therefore, in the teaching process, teachers are still confused when teaching to developing capacity for pupils through Mathematics. This paper addresses the teaching of Grade 4 Mathematics in the direction of developing capacity by mathematical modeling.
