Digital transformation - opportunities and challenges for teaching staff in higher education

Abstract

University education is a method of training highly qualified human resources, meeting the requirements of the country’s socio-economic development. One of the core forces involved in this process is the teaching staff. The trend of digital transformation has created many opportunities as well as challenges for this team. Within the scope of the article, the author proposes a number of opportunities and challenges of the teaching staff in university education, thereby proposes some recommendations to university education and training institutions and the teaching staff in general to help the implementation of digital transformation be effective in university education institutions.
