Abstract

Listening skill is considered as an important skill in communication because it helps learners receive information about the world around. However, in the process of learning listening skill, learners may encounter many difficulties in understanding a conversation, a lecture or a speeche in English. The article aims to identify difficulties in learning listening comprehension skill, and recommend some solutions to help non-majored students at the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment overcome those difficulties as well as improve the ability of English listening comprehension.
