Abstract

Mathematical communication ability is one of the important skills that contribute to improving students’ math learning outcomes. Solving mathematical word problems is content associated with problems related to students’ real life, appearing throughout the student’s learning process. However, many students have difficulty communicating with math problems. Stemming from the above reasons, the article proposes measures to train mathematical communication skills for students through activities to understand math word problems – Math 6.
