Designing and using practical exercises in teaching the topic of Plants and Animals in 5th grade Science

Abstract

Practical exercises are exercises with content related to natural, environmental, and social realities, requiring students to apply the knowledge they have learned to research, analyze, or solve prob-lems that arise in practice. Practical exercises help promote students' positivity, initiative, and creativity in the learning process. The effectiveness of using practical exercises in teaching depends on the design of practical exercises, the organization of teaching, the setting of assessment criteria and the selection of tools to assess the ability to apply knowledge and learned skills) when students solve situations posed in practical exercises. Based on analyzing the program and content, I have designed practical exercises in teaching the topic of Plants and animals in 5th grade Science.
