Measures for teaching reading comprehension of argumentative texts according to the 2018 Literature Program for high schools

Abstract

In the 2018 Literature program, one of the inherited but new features is the regulation of argumentative texts as one of three groups of mandatory texts in teaching reading comprehension that must be deployed from middle school to high school. Along with this new point, some previous concepts have changed (some previous medieval literary texts are now called medieval discussion texts). This change leads to the fact that guiding students to read and understand this type of text still has limitations. This article initially proposes some measures that can be used during lessons to guide students in reading and understand text to make learning activities of this type of text effective.
