Research on the educational function of fine arts

Abstract

Talking about the educational function of art is talking about artists using their works to convey their ideals of life and also the ideals of their country. It must be a progressive ideal, reflecting a progressive social force of the given era in which we live. By aligning one's ideals with the progressive ideals of the times, the artist will further promote the educational function of his or her art work. The history of modern Vietnamese art has proven that there are works that have long-lasting vitality and great transformative power because the artists' ideals adhere to the progressive ideals of the era in which they live.
