Using ‘Peer-to-Peer Collaboration’ activities to develop writing skills for non-English major students at Hanoi University of Culture

Abstract

This study investigates the use of peer-collaboration to develop the writing skill for English non-major students. A mixed-method approach with the instruments including questionnaires, observations and interviews is employed to ensure the reliability and validity of the study. The results of the study show that the benefits of collaboration in writing lessons for students outweigh the drawbacks of using them. From the research results, some suggestions are given to use the collaboration more effectively.
